CURRICULUM

Saint Francis Academy's program of study conforms to state standards of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and educational mandates of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Allentown. Core subjects include:

  • Religion
  • English
  • Reading
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies

Specialized classes are offered in art, music, computer education, library science, and physical education. Students and staff benefit from a fully equipped computer lab and a spacious library/media center, both of which serve as invaluable curricular resources.

Saint Francis Academy is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Diocese of Allentown. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association.

  • Pre-Kindergarten
  • Kindergarten–Grade 6
    Grades K–6 are primarily self-contained.
  • Grades 7 & 8
    The junior high program is departmental.

The Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) provides Saint Francis Academy with the following professional student support services:
